Private Entertainment, a male/female duo, are undoubtedly Moscow's finest electronic export. In a land where it's often
best to stay inside, Private Entertainment's music reflects that melancholic isolation in every bent note, fractured
rhythm and hushed vocal. Theirs is a sound both timeless and new, like a cold wind whipping through a future city.
Making music for only the past few years, Private Entertainment are a new group, lacking any expectations or pre-determined schemes.
Without any scene to fit into, P.E. are free to create as they please, free from any artistic limitations or boundaries.
Theirs is a music that is equally charming and disconcerting, hushed and violent, monotonous and quirky. Their minimal approach
is quite nearly the only continuous link throughout their music.
After appearing on multiple compilation LPs, White Denim is honored to release Private Entertainment's debut 7" EP. Four
songs, equally suitable for 4 AM dancefloors and 8 AM restless sleep. What is sure to only be the first in their growing
discography, Private Entertainment are quickly sculpting their unique sound and aesthetic.
