INFO
My Name is Rar Rar are currently burning a hole in the Midwest through their fiery
and disconcerting style. The Rar Rar sound references the manic, twitching pulse of
the Stick Men, updates it with a distinct ferociousness, and wraps everything in a
pretty pink satin. Tight, fluctuating rhythms form a suitable pulpit from which to
preach childish bird-calls, frustrated laments and prayers of hub bub. Proficient
not only in piss-soaked rainbows or birthday party vomit, My Name is Rar Rar exemplify
fashion in our most Nostradamus of times.
Plastically, My Name is Rar Rar first hit ears worldwide through their split 45 with
Neon Hunk, contributing "Pickles" and "Hounds" to a world in dire need of both. More
notably, My Name is Rar Rar have been consistently providing aural airbrushing to
live audiences, perfecting the palm tree beach scene. Filled with extravagance, tights,
compatible color schemes, and more energy than a case of Power Bars, My Name is Rar Rar
provide more entertainment and excitement in a 20 minute set than most performers would
assume possible.
My Name is Rar Rar are currently working on a full length album, for which any informed
music lover should be already searching for a suitable tent to camp out in, as the
release date draws near. Contributing to the 'Closet Full of Clothes' compilation on
White Denim, My Name is Rar Rar are gracious enough to bless us with a frenzy of stabs
towards the clogged aortas of convention, as only they could so precisely destroy.
