INFO
Mammal, made of flesh, cloth, ragged cords and electronics, has been soaking shows
with his funky, pizzapantic style. Like a Whitehouse cake covered in whipped cream
and ketchup, Mammal navigates this solar ship past giant buckets of popcorn and
Heath bars, landing harshly where no Dolby sound system would dare to venture. Always
masked and in the midst of the party, Mammal sets up his bruised, wooden suitcases and
unleashes an aural force so live and explosive that all witnesses are left stunned,
partying or wounded.
When not mentally slam-dunking fans across the globe, Mammal is busy with Animal Disguise,
an intense and fertile label that has provided a forum to many otherwise unheard acts,
as well as the big M himself. Kalamazoo's Scratch N' Sniff Entertainment was wise enough
to provide the world with Mammal's crushing full length, 'Fog Walkers', which blasts off
into the feel-good jam of 2002, a 13 minute epic fog explosion. Mammal has been prolific
in his collaborations and solo releases, each brimming over with furry fervor.
Kindly contributing to the 'Closet Full of Clothes' compilation, Mammal provides the
listener with an all-too-brief glimpse into his warm-blooded world, which only demands
further investigation. Mammal is an unstoppable force in the mostly stagnant sea of so-called
"dance" music, as he causes each and every person in the room to sweat and ooze Gatorade
from every possible orifice.
